Performance Education
We believe that performance education does more than create artists—it builds confidence, enhances communication skills, fosters teamwork, and develops creative problem-solving abilities. Through our program, students cultivate discipline, resilience, and a strong work ethic that transfers to all areas of their lives.
Inclusive Environment
By bringing our curriculum directly into schools, we remove transportation barriers and reach students who might otherwise never experience theatrical arts. Our goal is to create an inclusive environment where every child feels welcomed, valued, and capable of achieving artistic excellence regardless of prior experience or economic circumstances.
Measuring Impact
Broadway Rising is committed to measuring our impact through both artistic achievement and personal growth metrics. We continuously gather feedback from students, parents, and educators to ensure our program meets the evolving needs of the communities we serve while upholding the highest standards of performing arts education.

Why This Program Matters
Addressing a Need
There is currently a significant lack of structured, ongoing performing arts education programs for children in Sacramento area and surrounded cities.
Personal Experience
As parents of a 9-year-old professional performer, we've experienced the transformative power of the arts—and the limited local options.
Creating Opportunity
This program brings these opportunities directly into schools—accessible, professional, and rooted in cultural empowerment.
Over the years, we've had to travel out of state and invest thousands of dollars to ensure our daughter could continue her artistic education and development. That journey inspired us to create a program right here in Sacramento that brings these opportunities directly into schools. This program was created out of a deep need for spaces where children can thrive artistically, emotionally, and socially while being supported by a community that understands and nurtures their dreams.
Program Goals
Build Confidence
Empower students to build confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills
Foster Expression

Quality Education

Create Opportunities
